Voices of the Faithful- book review BS

Voices of the Faithful

inspiring stories of courage from Christians serving around the world

with Beth Moore

and friends who put their lives on the line for God

compiled by Kim P. Davis

I received this book a little after the New Year began. Its devotional format is very helpful and is useful when reading through the book. Every month has a different theme and the testimonies and stories show the hearts of the people who serve the Lord. The fact that every story has a different author makes the book feel even more personal. It draws attention to the work missionaries do around the world, and is thus an encouragement to every reader.

At the end of the book there is a section about the International Mission Board and about Beth Moore’s Living Proof Ministries. The heart of the people who serve the Lord with their lives is seen all through the book.

I recommend this book as it is a daily encouragement to everyone who wants to start the day with a genuine decision to do better in their faith walk.
